Allegations

The racial hatred against Russia and the negative image of Russia were spread, and the hostility against China could be found as well.

The remarks from the voice-over, hostess and interviewees were inaccurate, serving as tools for brainwashing and disseminating unverified information.  They were also misleading due to the absence of references to the causes of the Russia-Ukraine war.

By portraying Russia as the guilty party, an incomplete picture of the Russian-Ukrainian war was presented with a predetermined political stance.  The contents were partial due to the unavailability of objective reports on the backgrounds and political positions of the countries participating in the war and interviews with Russians.  With the negligence of Russian misery, the war was analysed from the Ukrainian, European, and American perspectives to smear Russia and glorify war.

The programme contents misled and harmed young and immature viewers.

TVB was requested to immediately cancel the program and issue an apology.

Given the presence of interviews relating to the Azov Battalion which was linked to neo-Nazism and terrorism, the programme was politically sensitive and tarnished the image of Hong Kong.   Since the programme contained elements which advocated colour revolutions and white terror and twisted the normal understanding of the China-Russia relationship and its end credits recognised the contributions from United 24, Superhumans and Lena Demme, the programme was suspected to be under sponsorship from foreign countries and also accused to be a mouthpiece for the US.  The Gaza Strip and Lebanon were more worthy of being included in the program.
